Discover Nursing

Discover Nursing offers prospective high school seniors an in depth look at the life of a USF Nursing Student. Students and their families will have the opportunity to learn about the combination of world-class clinical placements, passionate faculty, and state of the art facilities that make our program so unique. Students will hear first-hand from current nursing students about how USF is preparing them to be leaders and innovators in their field. In addition, USF staff will illustrate how our nursing program, founded in Jesuit philosophy, teaches future nurses how to give compassionate care for the whole person. Students and families will also have the opportunity to visit our simulation and skill labs, as well as take a campus tour.

Discover Nursing at USF closes with a luncheon where students will be able to mingle with and ask questions of current students and staff.

USF accommodates individuals with disabilities. If you need a disability-related accommodation or wheelchair access information, please contact Sarah Ryan at (415) 422-6934 or sdryan@usfca.edu. Requests should be made at least 14 days in advance of the event.
